Education
Supporting NGOs that bridge resource gaps in Zambia's education system, from scholarships to inclusive learning.
Overview
While Zambia has achieved near-universal primary school enrollment (97.2%) through the "Free Education for All" policy, the system faces significant pressure from resource constraints, overcrowded classrooms, and rural barriers. ZIN places interns in Education, Social Work, and IT to help local organizations implement programmes, write grant proposals, and mentor at-risk youth.
Key Challenges
How ZIN Helps
We place interns with backgrounds in Education, Social Work, and IT into local organizations to help implement programmes, write grant proposals, and provide direct mentoring to at-risk youth.
Success Indicator
Reduction in administrative backlog and increase in student-retention rates within partner organizations' scholarship programs.
